Middle Room

Children within this room currently follow The Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance, which is a government framework allowing children the freedom to grow and develop at their own pace and take direction of their own activities. The play room is divided into areas to allow children the freedom to play with a variety of toys and activities, areas include sand and water, messy play, small world, home area and a heuristic play area. The children in this room can enjoy all weathers with our conservatory and decking area.

Planning is carried out on a daily basis and childrens progress and general development is tracked and recorded to enable parents and carers to share in their childs growth and development. Children within this room are experiencing transition from the baby room and experience a range of activities and experiences which will prepare them for the more formal education they will receive in the Pre-school room when they turn 3 years old.

Children have access to three play areas, one grassed, one area of decking and one hard standing to allow access to fresh air in all weathers.
